The Project
The project is supported by InterAct, a network directed by the Economic and Social Research Council and funded by Made Smarter UK. This project forms part of a larger initiative aimed at tackling the challenges within the industry posed by emerging technologies, uniting academics from economic and social fields, policymakers, manufacturers, and digital technology providers to facilitate significant change.
The Project Team
Dr Khadija Tahera
Dr Khadija Tahera is the Principal Investigator of this project. She is a Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Open University. Her research is in the advancing area of circular and sustainable product development, especially focused on the digitalisation of the testing processes and helping manufacturing industries develop products that meet net zero and sustainability targets.
